Over 150,000 people visit the Vermont State House each year. Volunteers graciously greet and guide visitors through the building, wait on them in the Golden Dome gift shop, and generally make them feel at home. On Wednesday, May 31, State House volunteers, the staff from the State Curator's office, and many supporters of the Friends of the Vermont State House attended a luncheon to honor these people who make the State House a living history.
This annual luncheon is in recognition of the tremendous support the Friends give to education outreach, fundraising, the purchase and maintenance of the building's art, and to the Curator's office.
